Needle and Non-Needle Treatments Patients Love.
Patients tell us they love the Chiropractic and the Acupuncture care we provide. Acupuncture may be part of your Chiropractic care program or separate from it. Dr. Levitt treats the acupuncture meridians, ear points and extra energy points using either sterile needle technique or non-needle technique with QiLaser or StimPlus Microcurrent Therapy. The QiLaser, a 635 nm, 5 mW light energy output therapy is painless. With StimPlus Pro Microcurrent™ most people report either no sensation or a small, comfortable vibrating sensation, like a tiny massage. There is virtually no discomfort and each point takes just a few seconds to stimulate using the laser or microcurrent. Non-needle techniques can work just as well and takes less time. Discomfort with sterile Acupuncture needles is rare because of the extreme thinness of the acupuncture needles. Needle treatment time can be a little as 15 and as long as 40 minutes, although it is usually around 20 minutes. After treatment, most patients report a feeling of a deep sense of relaxation and well-being.
